This is mainly because FiveM isn’t build for controllers, since the steering wheel you have basically is a controller as well you will automatically get the same issues as controllers has. The only real way to solve this is to have the developer build it’s scripts based on either controllers
Hello so my push to talk isnt working. When I press my push to talk button it doesnt work. But when I switch "Voice Chat Mode" to Voice Activated it picks up my voice, so its kinda like FiveM isnt seeing my button click? This thread is archived. Searched Google and various forums, but nothing was working, finally, after poking around I found the fix in the settings: Right-click your steam taskbar icon Choose Settings Click Controllers (at the bottom) Click General Controller Settings Untick ALL the boxes. Important one to untick is "Xbox Controller
Alternative Solution. 1. Change controller override to Steam Input. Go to game's Properties > Controller and set it to Enable Steam Input. 2. Launch the game and apply any community configuration. Launch game, go to options menu, select Steam Controller Settings. If you've never played the game, press New Game and you'll get options screen
